There's only one reason why an enlightened/awaken (or any) person gets depressed. And the cause is thinking about something (times and times again) that your Higher Self/Soul does not agree with. Your thought/idea/belief is out of alignment with divine truth - and you're feeling it (experiencing depression). Your point of view is limiting and the disharmony you're feeling is oppressing. Blocking away our negative thoughts, pushing them away, or ignoring them - does not work. It only deepens the feeling of hopelessness/depression.
